I post weekly blog posts, but also work on a few larger projects. My projects mainly fall into two buckets: Reports and Dashboards.

I have a list of links below for all current projects. Note that all projects and dashboards are free to use or download! If you’d like, hire me to write similar data-driven reports, run surveys, or build dashboards for your org.

Reports

  • The Mormon Typology Report (Released September 5th, 2025) is a data-driven map of modern Mormon diversity. Using three waves of Pew’s Religious Landscape Survey (2007, 2014, 2024) and advanced statistical methods, I identified distinct “types” of Latter-day Saints—ranging from deeply devout to cultural and adaptive. The typology shows how Mormonism is evolving across generations, politics, and culture. It challenges the idea of a single Mormon identity and instead reveals a rich spectrum shaping the faith’s future. 👉 [Read the full report]

Dashboards

Note that dashboards have better viewing on desktop and not mobile devices.

  • US County Level Growth Dashboard - Get the most granualar view available for membership and congregation change for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The changes are from 2010 to 2020 with data from the US Religion Census. I will do another iteration in 2030 assuming more numbers are released at that time.
